We were looking for a bit of wintertime warmth and sunshine, and the beach walk in San Clemente provided that. The house is nicely appointed, just like the pictures. But I don't think it's insulated at all. In December, the floors were constantly cold, to the point that we put our shoes back on because we were tired of our feet being cold. Fireplace wasn't really working and the main heating was just barely up to the job. They provide space heaters and we almost resorted to those.
The step from the bedroom into the main bath nearly wiped me out when I forgot about it overnight. I think the space has been re-worked so there are steps from nearly every room to nearly every other.
I'm sure in warmer months, the heating situation is just fine.
Kitchen gear was mostly very good (we like to cook), but lack of dish towels had me running through paper towels very quickly, and we had to request a re-stock (which the owner promptly provided).

Stunning views of the ocean! So nice to watch the sunset and listen to the waves while sitting on the patio below. We also loved having a fireplace, which added to the ambiance and the coziness of the home. The large dining room table was perfect for doing puzzles and playing games. The home had everything we needed, and the location was nice as well. The proximity to North Beach and the North Beach trail provided us with many opportunities to play on the beach and take a nice walk towards the pier. All in all, a great home in a great location with amazing views of the ocean!

A nice place to stay and enjoy beach front view with the sound of ocean. My entire family loved the place.
The place was beautiful, and we had a great time. he only issue was the furnace did not work for the first 4 nights but was finally corrected.
